On 9th November, the Youth Academic Salon of the 74th Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series was held in the second meeting room. Kong Ting, a lecturer from the Department of Industrial Engineering, gave an academic report entitled Change in the Digital Era and Research on Digital Supply Chain. Some teachers and students from the School of Management attended the presentation.
In the presentation, Dr. Kong summarized the major technological changes in the digital era and the rapid development of the digital economy, as well as their impacts on the traditional economy, traditional business operations and traditional supply chain management, put forward the digital supply chain as an important development trend and research topic. She explained the development status of the digital supply chain, the key technologies adopted by digital supply chain and its difference from the traditional supply chain. Finally, she introduced the relevant hot research issues and future research trends in four aspects, namely the technology management of digital supply chain, the risk management of digital supply chain, the relationship management of digital supply chain, and the environmental management of digital supply chain.
At the end of the presentation, the participating teachers and students exchanged and discussed the content of the presentation with Dr. Kong.
