On the afternoon of September 21st, 2023, Zheng Shi, president of the SCO(Qingdao) Academy of Economy and Trade, Chen Chao, deputy director of Jiaobei Sub District Office of Jiaozhou City, Zeng Xun, business developer of the Training Department of SCO(Qingdao) Academy of Economy and Trade, Jiang Gongbao, founder & chairman of Long’ai Group, Wang Dong, co-founder of Long’ai Group, and Gao Weiwei, senior manager of the Industrial Innovation Center of the President's Office, came to our school for exchanging and visiting. Sheng Chun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of USST, Zhao Laijun, dean of Business School, Ma Jingbo, secretary of the Party Committee of Business School, Zhang Zheng and Zhao Jing, deputy deans of Business School, warmly welcomed the delegation of SCO（Qingdao）Academy of Economy and Trade.
On behalf of USST, Sheng Chun welcomed SCO（Qingdao）Academy of Economy and Trade and introduced the history, disciplines, talent training, cultural inheritance and innovation of USST. He expressed his belief that there is great potential and broad prospects for cooperation between the two sides. He hoped that through close collaboration with the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade (SCO-IET), the level of talent training and faculty construction between the two institutions could be enhanced.
Zheng Shi introduced the construction of SCO-IET and expressed his strong desire for in-depth collaboration with USST. He sincerely invited USST toparticipate in the construction of SCO-IET. Chen Chao introduced the SCO International Hub Port and hoped that the two institutions could strengthen their cooperation in the future in industry-university-research, achievement transformation, talent employment, etc. Jiang Gongbao introduced the first National College Students Career Planning Competition and the plan to set up the Long’ai Scholarship in USSTBS.
During the conference, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the joint construction of the Business School and the Intelligent Emergency Institute for SCO-IET. They also discussed the creation of a top-tier think tank. and ways to enhance their exchanges and brand reputation.
Prior to the conference, the SCO(Qingdao) Academy of Economy and Trade visited the USSTBS. Zhao Laijun extended a warm welcome to the representatives and presented an overview of the Business School. Zheng Shi introduced SCO-IET and the SCO(Qingdao) Academy of Economy and Trade.
