On the morning of August 28th, 2023. The Professional Degree Education Center held the new semester work conference, titled Starting with the Strategy and Striving for Stability and Progress. Zhao Laijun, dean of Business School & managing director of the Professional Degree Education Center, and all staff/faculty members of the Center attended the conference. The conference was presided over by Zhang Zheng, deputy dean of Business School and deputy director of the Professional Degree Education Center.

Meng Chenli, director of the Comprehensive Office of the Center, summarized the enrollment, training, employment, brand promotion, and student work of various programs during the summer, and reported on the work plan for the new semester. Other faculty members also shared their work content and plans for the upcoming semester.
Zhang Zheng delivered a speech
Zhang Zheng deployed the key work of the Center in the new semester. He mentioned that it is essential to ensure the orderly promotion of various work in the future, accelerate the implementation of international cooperation programs, jointly carry out professional degree program cooperation with partner institutions, so as to give full play to each other's advantages, and broaden the direction of student training. He stressed that we should ensure the quality of graduation thesis and further promote the construction of students' career development; during the orientation session, the leading role of each project director in student training and employment should be reinforced; it is necessary to enhance brand construction and create brand influence with the characteristic connotations of USST.
Zhao Laijun delivered a speech
Zhao Laijun affirmed the work of the Center in the first half of the semester, emphasized the need to fully implement the three high strategies of high input, high consumption, and high output, as well as explained the importance of scale, structure, quality, and efficiency. He pointed out that we should effectively carry out various tasks, jointly promote the high-quality development of the Center, attach importance to the quality of talent cultivation, and hope that the center's faculty and staff can work together to build a better blueprint.
