On August 14th, 2023, Zhang Zheng, deputy dean of USSTBS and deputy director of the Professional Degree Education Center, led a delegation of the Professional Degree Education Center to visit the alumni enterprise MKT-Medicine Co., LTD. Wang Yaping, general manager of MKT-Medicineand MBA alumnus of USST, Yang Leiqing, chairman of the Trade Union, Zhuang Kan, manager of quality Control Department, Yu kanying, manager of Human Resources Department, and Hu Lingyu, assistant of Supply Chain Center, warmly welcomed the leaders of Business school. Meng Chenli, director of the Comprehensive Office of the Professional Degree Education Center, Wang Yonglian, assistant director of the Comprehensive Office, and Kang Zhen, director of brand publicity, attended the meeting. The two sides held discussions and exchanges in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship, education concepts, industry-university-research cooperation and co-construction, as well as internship and employment.
Wang Yaping, on behalf of the company, warmly welcomed the visit of Zhang Zheng and his delegation, introduced the development process of MKT-Medicine and the experience of building a craftsman-oriented enterprise. He emphasized the enterprise's product quality control concept of exchanging "ingenuity" for "trustworthiness", proposed the corporate vision of "serving the world with good character and first-class products", hoped to establish a closer connection with Alma Mater. USST can leverage the technical advantages of the faculty and hold national professional innovation competitions in terms of product development, provide support such as enterprise employee training; and cultivate excellent talents for enterprises.
Zhang Zheng expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the alumni enterprise, and was pleased with the achievements made by the alumni enterprise in the development of innovation. He specially expressed his sincere appreciation for the sense of social responsibility of MKT-Medicine. He stressed that USST as the affiliated unit of the Shanghai MBA Industry-Education Integration Special Committee, should learn from the successful experience of alumni enterprises in "physician-industry-university-research", strengthen the cooperation between Alma mater and alumni enterprises, and give play to the positive role of enterprises in improving the quality of MBA talent training. USST and enterprises work in a joint effort, enterprises need suitable talents, and university needs enterprises to provide internship and training opportunities for MBA students, so as to deepen the integration of industry and education.
Through this visit to the alumni enterprise, the mutual understanding between the school and alumni enterprise has been enhanced, and a solid foundation has been laid for further strengthening cooperation and mutual learning between Business School and the alumni enterprise in product development, staff training and talent training in the future. USSTBS will work together with the alumni enterprise to seek common development.

Wang Yaping, MBA graduate of class 2010,USST. He founded MKT-Medicine Co., LTD. in 2009, after more than ten years of hard work, adheres to the entrepreneurial concept of concentration and professionalism, the enterprise has a sense of social responsibility, with a good social image. He is an Executive Committee member of the Putuo District Federation of Industry and Commerce; a representative of the 17th CPC National Congress of Putuo District; a leading figure, a model worker, and a craftsman of Putuo District.
