Recently, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) announced the results of the "2023 Science and Technology Think Tank Young Talent Plan", in which 120 consulting projects were selected for approval among a large number of competitors by CAST's expert and comprehensive evaluation. The project adaptation of science and technology entrepreneurial talents and incubators and its relationship governance model and policy research from the perspective of social embeddedness hosted by Tian Ying, a faculty member of our school, obtained approval.
The 2023 Science and Technology Think Tank Young Talent Plan is an important measure implemented by the China Association for Science and Technology to implement the 20th CPC National Congressspirit, strengthen science and technology strategic consultation, promote the construction of the China Association for Science and Technology think tank, stimulate the innovation and creativity of young talents, and cultivate a group of young strategic science and technology talents with keen thinking and solid expertise. The scope of funding is decision-making consulting researches on innovative talents, innovative environment, science and technology governance, science and technology diplomacy, science and technology organization, science and technology ethics, etc.
In recent years, our school attaches great importance to the training of young scientific research talents, constantly strengthens the construction of scientific research platform, improves the whole chain of scientific research services, strengthens the construction of software and hardware environment, highly encourages the application of scientific research projects, constantly explores and innovates the application and organization of scientific research projects, and strives to stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers in the application and improve the quality of the application. It has built up a strong scientific research atmosphere for young talents and provided them with strong research support.
Related Introduction: Tian Ying, lecturer and Master supervisor of USSTBS. In recent years, she has mainly engaged in researches in the fields of technology incubation, digital economy, innovation and entrepreneurship of small and medium-sized enterprises. She has also hosted many research projects in Shanghai philosophy and social sciences. Her research results have been published in authoritative journals such as Management Review and Studies in Science of Science, and her paper results have been reprinted in Xinhua Digest (online version). On the basis of academic research, she actively provides advice and suggestions, and relevant political proposals have been adopted by governmental institutions such as the Propaganda Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the United Front Work Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.
