On the afternoon of July 18th, 2023, Ma Jingbo, secretary of the Party Committee, Pu Yingying, deputy secretary, director Liu Weiwei, teacher Dong Jieshuang; and counselor Zhou Qiang of the Department of Transportation System Engineering of Business School, went to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province to visit Zhejiang University Urban--Planning & Design Institute Co, Ltd. and Zhejiang Institute of Communications Co., Ltd. respectively.
Zhang Yuanjing, general manager, Yang Fei, deputy general manager, He Yihao, deputy director of Transportation and Municipal Branch, Wu Wei, deputy director of Innovation and Information Technology Research Branch Office of Zhejiang University Urban--Planning & Design Institute Co, Ltd.; Xu Yuntao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Ding Saihua, deputy chief engineer, Cai Hongbing, president of the Planning Institute, Chen Shu, deputy president of the Track Institute, Ye Nianwei, director assistant of the Human Resources Department, Liu Jiao, president assistant of the Planning Institute of Zhejiang Institute of Communications Co., Ltd., received the visiting team respectively.
The leaders of the two companies first warmly welcomed the arrival of the Business School and their team on behalf of the companies and introduced the companies’ development history, business scope, current scale, future development prospects, and talent needs. Ma Jingbo expressed gratitude to the two companies for their consistent support in the employment of our graduates and introduced the development history, professional characteristics, discipline construction, school scale, social services, and development strategy of the Business School.
During the exchange and discussion session, the two sides conducted exchanges and discussions on the contents of industry-university-research cooperation, talent training, student internship, and employment, and reached preliminary cooperation intentions in the construction of internship bases, joint training of talents between schools and enterprises, in-depth cooperation of scientific research teams, and the selection and transportation of graduates.
