On July 8th, 2023. The EDP Center of Business School of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology(USST) and Xijia International Logistics Co., LTD., adhering to the concept of "Complementary Advantages, Resource Sharing, and Common Improvement", jointly held industry-university-research exchange cooperation and training event in National Economic Management Experimental Center. Professor Ge Yuhui,teacher Yan Rui from EDP Center of Business School, USST, deputy general manager Chen Jian of Shanghai Xijia International Logistics Co., Ltd., and others attended the event.
This event aims to promote cooperation between enterprises and universities, give play to the resource advantages of universities in humanities, teachers, practical training, scientific research, and other aspects, and enhance the scientific management level and connotation development ability of enterprises. In this event, the two sides signed the certificate of integration of industry and education public association, and the two sides will work together to better serve society.
Before the training, the trainees walked through Hujiang International Cultural Park and the historical buildings of USST and felt the charm of the century-old blend of Chinese and Western cultures; visited the Red Culture theme Hall of Liu Zhan’en martyr's former residence, and through VR interaction, multimedia audio-visual and docent's explanation, carefully thought and remembered the history, cherished the memory of revolutionary martyrs, and reviewed the red memory.
During the training, the participants listened to the theoretical explanation of Foreign Trade Comprehensive Business Training made by teacher Xiang Peijun of the National Economic Management Center of USST. After that, the trainees were divided into several groups, acted as exporters, importers, factories, banks, and other roles, and practiced on the professional foreign trade experimental software platform. Through practice, the trainees generally reflected that the training effect was very good. They not only became familiar with the specific operation process of foreign trade practice and the basic operation skills of import and export business, consolidated and deepened the relevant theoretical foundation, but more importantly, through practical interaction, they enhanced the sense of belonging to the enterprise, cohesion, and mutual understanding of employees.
