Secretary Ma Jingbo of the Party Committee of Business School, Led a Team to Visit Alumnus Li Jiyang

To further strengthen the connection between alma mater and alumni, better unite and serve alumni, as well as promote the sense of identification and belonging of alumni to their alma mater, on the morning of July 7th, 2023, Ma Jingbo, secretary of the Party Committee, Pu Yingying, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Hengshan, former dean, and Zhou Qiang, counselor of Business School, went to Suzhou to visit alumnus Li Jiyang, chairman and general manager of Jiangsu HOB Biotech Group Corp., Ltd. (a graduate student of System Engineering at Business School in 1987).


Under the introduction of the head of the HR Department, Ma Jingbo and his delegation first visited and learned about the company's development history, operation situation, main business scope, series results display, future development direction, and industrial layout, etc.


At the symposium, alumnus Li Jiyang recalled the study and life experience at his alma mater decades ago and expressed gratitude to his alma mater for providing high-quality resources for students' internal training and future development, providing a solid foundation. He was full of deep affection for his alma mater, teachers, and classmates.

Ma Jingbo expressed gratitude to alumnus Li Jiyang for his warm reception and introduced the achievements of the university and school in faculty development, subject construction, talent training, internationalization process, and other aspects in recent years. He hoped to further strengthen the in-depth cooperation between the alma mater andalumni enterprises, achieve mutual assistance and create a win-win situation for the future career development of the alma mater and alumni enterprises. At the same time, he welcomed alumnus Li Jiyang to visit his alma mater frequently, and the alma mater will also provide more platforms to enhance the contact between alumni and alma mater, as well as between alumni.


Finally,the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on school-enterprise cooperation to help integrate industry, university, and research, and promote graduate internships and employment work.
