On June 28th, 2023,the Young Teachers Teaching Competitionof Business School and the Teaching Observation and Discussion Event of Young Teachers' Growth and Development Promotion Association was held in the lecture hall on the fourth floor of Economic Management BuildingA. Tong Yuanwei, director of the Teacher Development Center and vice minister of the Teacher Work Departmentof USST, Prof. Li Zhengming of Business Schooland Prof. Gu Zhengxian, distinguished teacher of Shanghai, College of Science, served as the judges of the competition. Prof. Zhao Jing, vice dean of Business School, Prof. Liu Qinming, president of the Youth Promotion Association, and young teachers of Business School attended the meeting,presided over by Liu Qinming.

First, Liu Qinming introduced the three judges and leaders attending the meeting and welcomed the guests and young teachers.Then, Zhao Jing said in his speech that the Young Teachers Teaching Competition was of great significance, and he hoped that the participating teachers and the other young teachers could improve their teaching skills through competition. Then Li Zhengming announced the rules of the competition and wished the contestants to get good results.

Judges of the competition
The competition attracted the active participation of young teachers from various disciplines in the school. Wang Jiawen from the Department of Transportation System Engineering, YinPei from the Department of Information Management &Information Systems,Wang Cong from the Department of Public Finance and Taxation, Tian Ying from the Department of Business Administration, ZhaoXin from the Department of Public Administration,Yang Le from the Department of International Economics and Trade,Wang Wanjun from the Department of Accounting, Geng Xiuli from the Department of Industrial Engineering, and Tao Jie from the Department of Systems Science showed their teaching in lively ways through various forms such as colourful and detailed PPT courseware, refined micro-videos, and carefully designed blackboard writing, which showed the full teaching enthusiasm, vigorous education style and excellent teaching attitude of young teachers in Business School. At the end of each teacher's competition, the three judges put forward targeted opinions that are highly beneficial to the participating teachers to improve their teaching level.
Competition site
The competition lasted for more than 4 hours. After careful and strict evaluation by experts, Tao Jie, Wang Jiawen and Tian Ying won the first prize, and Yin Pei, Geng Xiuli, Wang Cong, Wang Wanjun, Yang Le and Zhao Xin won the second prize.
The Young Teachers Teaching competition provided a valuable opportunity to inspire young teachers of our school to love their jobs and be dedicated to their work, renew their teaching concepts, and master advanced teaching methods. It promoted teaching and learning through the competition.
