Distinguished Professor Fu Tong of Guizhou University, Delivered a Report to the Faculty and Students of the Business School

On June 28th, 2023, Fu Tong, a distinguished professor of Guizhou University, delivered a report entitled "Risk culture as a blessing in tourism development: Long run effect of epidemic disasters on economic performance". The seminar was presided over by He Jianjia, vice dean of the Business School, and dean Zhao Laijun, and more than 100 teachers and students attended the seminar.


Firstly, Jianjia warmly welcomed Fu Tong's arrival and briefly introduced Fu Tong's scientific research experience.


Then, Fu Tong shared his recent research results with teachers and students on site, which used a large number of detailed empirical data to test the long-term impact of epidemic disasters on tourism development and economic performance from a new perspective of regional risk culture.


The teachers and students attending the meeting had a heated discussion with Fu Tong on ''whether the epidemic disasters samples were artificially triggered and whether there were graded, how to classify the income variables of travel agencies, and whether risk culture can promote management system and enterprise innovation spirit''.


Finally, Zhao Laijun stated in his concluding speech that teachers and students present should learn from Professor Fu Tong's conscientious scientific research attitude, actively participate in academic exchanges, share more research results, brainstorm, constantly pursue innovation, and improve scientific research strength.
