Business School Held the Organization and Guidance Experience Sharing Session of Class A Discipline Competitions

On June 13th, 2023, the Association for Promoting Youth Teachers’ Growth and Development of Business Schools (from now on referred to as the Youth Promotion Association) organised a Class A Discipline Competition Organization and Guidance Experience Sharing Session in the lecture hall on the fourth floor of Economic Management Building A. Li Chenxue, vice dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and deputy director of the Public Experiment Center of USST, and Tang Qiao, a full-time teacher atthe International Economics and Trade Department of Business School, gave lectures. Prof. Zhao Jing, vice dean of Business School, Prof. Li Zhengming, instructor of the Youth Promotion Association, and all young teachers of Business School attended the sharing session. The session was presided over by Prof. Liu Qinming, president of the Youth Promotion Association of Business School.


At the beginning of the session, Liu Qinming introduced the keynote speakers and leaders and welcomed the speakers and young teachers.

Next, Li Chenxue delivered a speech with the theme of "Based on Profession, Oriented to Industry, Integrated into Innovation and Entrepreneurship--a Trinity Mode of Training High-quality Innovative Talents" from multiple aspects such as talent positioning, industry-university interconnection, innovation and entrepreneurship. Mainly explained the support policies for young teachers to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship programs, the "Internet +" innovation and entrepreneurship competition and the Class A competition of USST in detail, encouraged young teachers present to participate in the innovation and entrepreneurship competition actively.

Then, Tang Qiao shared her experience in the China University Business Elite Challenge--International Trade Competition. She gave a comprehensive introduction to the participating teachers about the International Trade Competition, including the competition module, the awards of our teachers and students in the city competition, the national competition and the world finals over the years, and the employment and further study of some students participated in the competition.

At last, Li Zhengming summarised and thanked the two speakers for their sharing. Later, she comprehensively explained the upcoming new Young Teachers Competition of USST.

This young teachers sharing session provided valuable experience for young teachers to organise and participate in Class A discipline competitions and laid a foundation for breakthroughs in Class A discipline competitions of Business School.
