On June 15, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO) Industrial and Supply Chains Forum and 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo opened at Qingdao SCO International Expo Center. Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shandong Province government, the forum, with the theme of “Win-Win Collaboration for a New Future of Regional Economic Cooperation”, aims to build a safe and stable, smooth and efficient, open and inclusive, mutually beneficial and win-win industrial and supply chain system.The forum consisted of the main forum and a number of supporting activities such as the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, 6 parallel forums, and 4 on-site matchmaking meetings.With the theme of “Gathering at SCO for a Better Life”, the 2023 SCO International Investment and Trade Expo, had a total exhibition area of 44000 square meters, attracting 330 enterprises and institutions from 34 countries and regions along the SCO and the Belt and Road, which is the largest exhibition area ever. The Expo mainly includes the SCO National Image Exhibition Area, the SCO Demonstration Zone Achievement Exhibition Area, the International Cooperation Theme Exhibition Area, the SCO High Quality Industry Exhibition Area, the Qingdao High Quality Enterprise Exhibition Area, and the Outdoor Image Exhibition Area.
Vice Dean He Jianjia and Professor Fang Zhiming respectively represented the Business School and the School of Intelligent Emergency Management at the forum, and jointly participated in the Expo with our alumni enterprise - Yuance (Qingdao) Emergency Safety Technology Co., Ltd.
