On March 7, Gu Chunhua, Deputy Secretary of the UCPC, led a team to visit Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, accompanied by Zhao Laijun, Dean of the School of Business, He Jianjia, Vice Dean, and Fang Zhiming, Professor of the Department of Systems science. Ma Jianhong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, Gui Yucai, Deputy Director, Zhang Xingge, Director of the Science and Technology Support Department, Hu Wenting, Director of the Collaborative Development Department, Zhu Jingjun, Deputy Director of the Rescue Coordination and Plan Management Department, and Xu Xiaolei, Deputy Director of the Comprehensive Coordination Department, received Gu Chunhua and his delegation. Both sides held a seminar on the joint construction of the “Smart Emergency Business School”.
At the seminar, Zhao Laijun introduced the construction plan of the “Smart Emergency Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology”, described the advantages, strategic positioning, construction objectives, support conditions, etc. of the school, and replied to the relevant questions raised by the Emergency Management Bureau during the discussion and exchange process.
Subsequently, both parties discussed the details of the construction plan. The heads of the Science and Technology Support Department, Comprehensive Coordination Department, Emergency Response Department, Collaborative Development Department, and Propaganda and Training Department of the Municipal Emergency Bureau proposed specific needs for their respective departments. Zhao Laijun, He Jianjia, and Fang Zhiming proposed specific ideas for cooperation based on the “Smart Emergency Business School” in response to the needs of various departments of the Municipal Emergency Bureau. After in-depth discussions between both parties, a consensus has been reached on the organizational structure, strategic positioning, and cooperation model of the college.
Finally, Ma Jianhong and Gui Yucai summarized the seminar, put forward the construction goal of the “Smart Emergency Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology” to “adapt to the situation, grasp the needs, play a role, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and strive to be first-class”, defined the next work schedule, and looked forward to the broad space for cooperation in the future. Gu Chunhua expressed sincere gratitude for the strong support of the Emergency Management Bureau and expressed sincere hope for the establishment and development of the “Smart Emergency Business School.
