The report was presided over by Zhao Laijun, Dean of the Business School of USST. Starting from General Secretary Xi Jinping’ systematic perspective, Yang Xiaoguang draws conclusions from four perspectives: basic understanding of social system complexity, call for social system management from a complexity perspective, social system management from a complexity perspective, and the need for game thinking in social system management.

1. The social system is the most complex system; 2. The complexity of social systems comes from the time-varying nature of internal and external interactions, system evolution, and information bias; 3. The management of complex social systems requires cognitive mechanisms, design mechanisms and tools; 4. The management of complex social systems requires game thinking.
