The Business School Held a Job Fair for Graduating Students to Discuss Employment Opportunities with the Bank of Taizhou

To further implement national and Shanghai employment policies and effectively promote employment opportunities for our graduates, on the afternoon of March 13th, the Department of Systems Science and the Department of Public Administration of our Business School held a collaborative negotiation and exchange meeting with the recruitment department of the Bank of Taizhou via Tencent Meeting. Attendees included Mao Xiao, Recruitment Manager of the Bank of Taizhou, Gu Changgui, Director of the Department of Systems Science, Liu Yuanhua, Secretary of the Department's Party Branch, Xi Ning, Vice Director of the Department, Chen Yanting, a young teacher, Zhu Shuicheng, Director of the Department of Public Administration, Yan Juan, Secretary of the Department's Party Branch, and Qi Xiang, Vice Director of the Department. The two sides had in-depth discussions on how to jointly promote student employment opportunities in relevant majors between the Bank of Taizhou and our school.

 

Gu Changgui and Zhu Shuicheng first extended a warm welcome to the recruitment department of the Bank of Taizhou for their participation in the negotiation and exchange meeting. Then, each department leader introduced in detail the faculty strength, talent cultivation mode, employment level of graduates, and social service effectiveness of the Department of Systems Science and the Department of Public Administration. Through the above introduction, Manager Mao Xiao learned that our school's management and economics majors have a solid foundation in science and engineering, and are able to meet the high requirements of positions with a strong foundation in science and engineering. Manager Mao introduced that the Bank of Taizhou is a nationwide bank that focuses on serving domestic small and micro enterprises, with a total scale of more than 10,000 employees and recruiting over 1,000 new employees every year through various main channels, including management trainees and Fintech programs.

 

During the interactive communication stage, Manager Mao suggested that, based on the characteristics of graduates from both departments, graduates from the Department of Systems Science could consider applying for technical positions with higher requirements in mathematics and science, while graduates from the Department of Public Administration could apply for customer-oriented positions with higher requirements in communication skills. He also mentioned that the recruitment plan of Taizhou Bank mainly targets students from Zhejiang Province. The attending teachers actively communicated with Manager Mao, understood the demands of the job market, and enhanced the employment competitiveness of students. They also expressed their willingness to recommend outstanding graduates to relevant employers, and sincerely invited Taizhou Bank to participate in our school's spring recruitment. 

Manager Mao highly recognized the importance of student employment and appreciated the model of strengthening talent employment with the help of external forces by the Department of Systems Science and the Department of Public Administration. He hoped that both sides could work together to promote the active employment of students and the development of the economy and society.
