On March 21st, at midnight, Mr. Yuan Yue, the chairman of Dataway, was appointed as a guest professor of the Business School and gave a special lecture to the faculty and students.
At the appointment ceremony, Dean Zhao Laijun delivered a welcoming speech and presented the guest professor certificate to Mr. Yuan Yue. Attendees included alumni from the Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and founder and CEO of Ruiwen, Qiu Yumei, the school's Party Secretary Ma Jingbo, members of the school's Party and government leadership team, and relevant personnel from the Professional Degree Education Center. The ceremony was chaired by Vice Dean Zhang Zheng.

Ma Jingbo welcomed the arrival of Mr. Yuan Yue and expressed his hope that the Business School can strengthen cooperation with ZeroPoint in the future. He also stated that the Business School will continue to deepen the integration of the digital industry and professional degree education, with the aim of improving the quality and level of talent cultivation at the school.

Following that, the Professional Degree Education Center of the Business School held the first session of the Industry Leaders Lecture Series, in which Mr. Yuan Yue delivered a keynote speech on Insight and Strengthening Leadership in Youth. He first talked about the importance of leadership and how to develop leadership skills, pointing out that leadership can be innate or developed through training, depending on how one can bring out its maximum value. He then shared his personal experience on how young people can develop their leadership skills in entrepreneurship. Regarding the role of a leader, he emphasized the importance of positioning oneself in practical exploration, using cutting-edge leadership to explore and become a benchmark figure. After the speech, Mr. Yuan Yue had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the attending faculty and students on how to balance input and output in youth and how to find breakthroughs in bottleneck issues.

Teachers and students who participated in the industry lecture hall online showed a high level of enthusiasm, with more than 16,000 people participating in interactions and likes. This exchange activity not only enhanced the critical thinking ability and industry awareness of teachers and students, but also helped students establish a new knowledge system and ability framework. Yuan Yue is the chairman of Dataway, co-founder of Feima Travel, chairman of Black Apple Youth Public Welfare, vice chairman of the Propaganda and Education Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, member of the Think Tank Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and vice president of the China Market Research Association and president of the Third-Party Evaluation Committee.
