On the morning of February 23rd, Shen Dai, President of the Brest Business School in France, and Liao Xiaoyan, Chief Representative of the Junia, French School of Science and Engineering in China, visited our school to discuss international educational exchanges and cooperation. Sheng Chun, Deputy Secretary of the University's Party Committee and Vice President, Ma Jingbo, Secretary of the Business School's Party Committee, He Jianjia, Vice Dean, and Shen Dai held discussions in the conference room 506 of the Business School. Representatives of the University's International Exchange Office, the Business School's Internationalization Office, and the Business School's faculty attended the discussions. The discussions were chaired by Ma Jingbo.
Both sides hold discussions
Sheng Chun extended a warm welcome to the visit of Shen Dai and his delegation, expressed gratitude to President Shen Dai for his long-term efforts in international educational exchange and cooperation between the two universities, and introduced the overview, characteristics, and advantages of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). He hoped that both sides would continue to strengthen international exchange and cooperation in the future. He Jianjia introduced the development and international characteristics of the Business School, stating that the Business School of USST has always maintained a cooperative relationship with the Brest Business School in France, and has achieved good results in cooperation in areas such as student learning exchanges and joint degree programs. He hopes to continuously enhance teacher-student exchanges and explore more forms of cooperation in the future.
Shen Dai congratulated the Business School of USST on its remarkable achievements in recent years and hoped that Brest Business School in France and USST would conduct in-depth cooperation in international exchanges, student cultivation, and other aspects. Liao Xiaoyan introduced the history and talent cultivation mode of Junia, French School of Science and Engineering, and hoped that the two sides could cooperate in cultivating technology + management inter-disciplinary talent talents in the future.
This meeting enabled the two sides to have a more in-depth and detailed understanding, and confirmed the path and the content of further cooperation, bringing the cooperation between the two sides to a comprehensive and substantive stage.
