On the afternoon of March 5th, 2023, Professor Feng Gengzhong, dean of the School of Management of Xi'an Jiaotong University, was invited to our school to guide the international certification work. Zhao Laijun, Dean of the Business School, He Jianjia, Vice Dean, WANG Yaopeng, Lu Ke, the Dean’s assistants Zhong Weibing, Director of the Internationalization Office, and members of the international certification team and the Internationalization Office participated in the exchange and discussion. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Laijun.
Feng Gengzhong introduced the differences and relevance between the new and old standards of AACSB international certification, elaborated on the significance of AACSB international certification for Chinese universities in recent years. According to the 2020 version of the new standard, he shared experiences in writing certification reports, understanding core ideas, preparing certification materials, processing original documents, AoL course testing, and on-site visits.
Participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the logical relationship between the school's mission, vision, and strategy, the organization and writing of the certification report, and the collection and presentation of supporting materials.
This exchange and discussion provided valuable opinions and suggestions for the school to further strengthen and improve its international certification work, and provided useful reference and inspiration for the school to maintain the AACSB certification as well as continuous improvement.
