On February 2, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology announced the list of sponsees of the Rising-Star Program of “Shanghai 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan (Yangfan Special Project). Chen Qian, a faculty of BS, was supported.
The Rising-Star Program of “Shanghai 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan (Yangfan Special Project) is a kind of Shanghai excellent science and technology innovation talent cultivation plan set up by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission to further implement the innovation-driven development strategy, speed up the construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence, strengthen the construction of Shanghai's science and technology talent team, and cultivate excellent young science and technology talents. It aims to select and cultivate a group of outstanding young science and technology personnel, and to encourage them to carry out original innovation and bold exploration and grow into the backbone of Shanghai's scientific and technological innovation as soon as possible.
In recent years, the school has attached great importance to talent training, constantly exploring the talent training mechanism, and organizing the application and counseling activities of various talent projects. From the writing of the application to the presentation of the defense, the school has made progress at all levels and implemented it solidly. Chen Qian, who won the grant this time, is a young faculty who joined BS in 2022, which means that our school has made certain achievements in the training of young faculty.
