On January 31, with the support of Wenzhou Technology Transfer Center of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, our faculty Zhang Yongqing, Dong Jieshuang, Liu Weiwei, Li Wenxiang, Wang Jiawen, Zhou Yiwei and others went to Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province to carry out project discussion and academic exchange activities. Leaders and technical backbones from Wenzhou Development and Reform Commission, Wenzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Zhejiang Guohong Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. and Wenzhou University of Technology participated in the project discussion and academic exchange activities.
In the discussion of the cooperation project, first of all, associate professor Liu Weiwei, the head of the Department of Transportation System Engineering, made a report on the conclusion of the project Coordinated development of space and transportation system of Wenzhou based on the low-carbon concept entrusted by Zhejiang Guohong Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., and the owner affirmed the high quality of the project completed by our research team. Subsequently, associate professor Li Wenxiang, a member of the team, made an opening report on another project, Research on Key Technologies of Digital Intelligent Computing of Traffic Carbon Emissions in the Central City of Wenzhou, led by associate professor Dong Jieshuang. The experts at the meeting highly recognized the significance and feasibility of the project.
In the academic exchange session, the 27th session of Guohong Consulting Hong Tea Party was jointly held, with the theme of low-carbon smart transportation construction implementation and trend outlook. Our faculty Li Wenxiang and Wang Jiawen presented at seminars respectively entitled Theory and Practice of Low Carbon Transformation of Urban Transport under the Double Carbon Goals and Internet plus Data Driven Urban Road Traffic Management Optimization. The lectures of the two teachers are close to the forefront, rich in cases, explained in simple terms, and warm in exchanges. They have won unanimous praise from the leaders and guests present, reflecting the profound theoretical accumulation and rich practical experience of our faculty.
In the end, the participants conducted in-depth discussions on the solution of some practical problems and technical needs in Wenzhou. Zhang Yongqing, Dong Jieshuang and Liu Weiwei of our institute put forward targeted suggestions and determined that the technology transfer center of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology would provide the next required docking support and ways. This exchange and discussion has laid the foundation and created conditions for our teachers' scientific and technological achievements to better serve the local economic and social development of Wenzhou in the future, and also promoted the deep integration of production, learning, research and application between our school and the government and enterprises in Wenzhou.
