In the morning of December 9, the Business School held the first working meeting of Internationalization Demonstration Area. The meeting was chaired by He Jianjia, Vice Dean of the Business School, and attended by Professor Geng Xiuli, Professor Qian Ying and Associate Professors Liu Dan, Assistant Dean Wang Yaopeng and Lu Ke, Director of the Internationalization Construction Office Zhong Weibing, and more than ten teachers with Ph.D. degree from abroad and foreign teachers.
He Jianjia firstly thanked all the teachers for their active participation in the construction of the internationalization demonstration area, and then put forward four requirements on the work of the internationalization demonstration area: firstly, to create two centers based on the internationalization demonstration area of the Business School, namely Center for Globalization of Business Education and Center for Globalization of Chinese Enterprises” based on the Internationalization Demonstration Zone of the Business School, and to create a research atmosphere and talent cultivation mode with globalization characteristics in the Zone; secondly, to build the brand demonstration effect of the Internationalization Demonstration Zone in research, teaching and international student cultivation. He pointed out that the internationalization demonstration zone should change its future internationalization development strategy from encouraging students to go out to go to famous universities and from recruiting international students to recruiting talented students. He especially emphasized that the first two requirements could not be achieved without a high-quality internationalization demonstration area construction team, and in the future work, all the participating teachers, i.e. the demonstration area team members, should communicate more, explore more, complement each other's strengths and cooperate with each other.

Afterwards, Zhong Weibing gave an additional explanation on the planning and transformation plan of the demonstration area. She pointed out that the layout of the demonstration area has been initially determined, and the future internationalization demonstration area will become a diversified area integrating teaching, office and seminar functions, covering intelligent classrooms, foreign teachers' studios, seminar rooms, public activity rooms, publicity and exhibition areas, etc.
The members of the demonstration area construction team had a lively discussion with the requirements of future tasks, including the application of foreign high-end expert projects and the creation of all-English courses. He Jianjia encouraged the team members, especially the young teachers, to make full use of the team strength, play the role of the platform, make achievements in scientific research and teaching, and promote the internationalization construction of the Business School to another level!
