A Delegation from the Business School Visited Russell Reynolds (Shanghai) Associates Co., Ltd.

       On the morning of November 18, Ma Jingbo, Secretary General of the Party Committee of the Business School, visited Russell Reynolds Associates Ltd. and had a friendly discussion with Cheng Shouzheng, General Manager and Partner of Russell Reynolds Associates (a 99th alumnus of the BS-USST), together with Wang Wei, former Secretary of the Party, Pu Yingying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of, and Yuan Junwei, Deputy Director of the Student Affair Office.

Cheng Shouzheng extended a warm welcome to the visit of Secretary Ma Jingbo and the delegation. He recalled his education and working experience with the school first, and then introduced in detail the development stage, workforce structure, business sectors, business scope and performance of the company. He hoped to have an extensive and deep exploration on the recruitment of talents, international construction, career planning of undergraduates and employment, so that the company would contribute to the development and construction of Alma Mater.

Secretary Ma Jingbo expressed his gratitude to alumnus Cheng Shouzheng for his continuous care and support to the Business School. He talked about the mission of universities to nurture people for the party and the country, and it has been the focus of the university to accelerate the internationalization construction, engage more talents to optimize the faculty and improve the quality of talent cultivation. As a company with a long history and international reputation, Russell Reynolds Associates has served many universities and famous enterprises, and has a wealth of resources and experience. It is hoped that the company would match its experience with the actual practice of the Business School, and benefit the school in taking in high-quality resources and talents.

Subsequently, both sides had an extensive and deep discussion on students’ career planning and development, discipline construction and alumni resource expansion.
