On November 12, 2022, the second meeting of the Steering Committee of China System Science Conference 2022 was grandly held in Shanghai Sanjia Port Greenland International Conference Center both online and offline. Members of the Steering Committee of China System Science Congress, representatives of the organizers of the 7th and 8th China System Science Congress, representatives of the organizers of the 1st System Science Frontier Forum and invited guests attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Academician Guo Lei, Director of the Steering Committee of the China System Science Conference.
As the organizer of the 7th China System Science Conference, Chongqing Jiaotong University introduced the preparedness of the 7th China System Science Conference with regard to conference organization, time, venue, scale, organizing form, security system, key time points, registration fee and procedure, and other matters. Nantong University, the organizer of the first System Science Frontier Forum, introduced the preparedness for the Forum in four aspects: the overview, agenda, accommodation and preparation.
The Steering Committee held a proactive discussion on the reports and problems to be solved of the two organizers, and made specific suggestions.
Guo Lei, on behalf of the Steering Committee, affirmed the endeavors of the two organizers and hoped that the Preparatory Working Group of the Seventh China System Science Conference and the First System Science Frontier Forum would conscientiously implement the spirit of the conference and make good preparations. The Steering Committee will work with the organizer to facilitate the preparations for the conference and ensure the smooth convening of the two conferences.
