Professor He Jianjia first extended a warm welcome to Pan Tao and thanked him for taking the initiative to answer questions form the teachers of BS-USST. At the same time, He Jianjia especially stressed that the High-End Foreign Talents Program is an incentive to seek global scientific research cooperation, so as to promote the expansion of teachers’ scientific research vision and timely grasp of scientific and technological frontiers.

Pan Tao explained in detail the application time, application requirements, application form, financial support and precautions of the “high-end foreign talents (including foreign youth talent projects)” at the national and Shanghai levels. The teachers who attended the meeting showed great interest and asked many questions. They had a warm discussion with Pan Tao about the details of the application.

The application and implementation of High-End Foreign Talents Projects will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the improvement of teachers’ scientific research ability, the international construction of the university and the international influence of the school. In order to encourage teachers to actively apply, the university is also formulating corresponding policies and measures to classify High-End Foreign Talents Projects into scientific project.
