At 19:00 on October 25, the Innovation Team of the business School in Social Economic Complex Systems held a team meeting, chaired by Professor Gao Yan, the team leader, who delivered a keynote speech.

Gao Yan first introduced the status que of the innovation team building in Shanghai's high-level universities, and helped team members understand the value and implementation path of innovation team building from three aspects: the starting point of promoting innovation team building by the Municipal Education Commission, the management mode of interaction between discipline development and team building, and the talent cultivation and incentive plan in team building. Then, referring to the statistical data of the team's annual performance, Gao Yan summarized the team's achievements in the current phase from the aspects of high-level paper publishing, national project initiation, talent team building, undergraduate teaching achievements, and etc. He pointed out the directions that the team needs to endeavor in the next one to two years in comparison with the annual goals and final goals set up by the team and the assessment of the Municipal Education Commission. In view of the problems and weaknesses in the team development, Gao Yan proposed practical means and improvement measures based on the analysis of the characteristics of team members, so as to achieve the integration and promotion of team members and team development while improving their personal scientific research level. Gao Yan especially emphasizes that team building needs to refine direction, gather cohesive force, form highlights, actively serve national strategy and local development while completing quantifiable scientific research indicators, break through key technologies, and solve practical problems in social economy and people's life. In the final communication and interaction session, Gao Yan interacted with team members on issues concerning team members, such as how to define high-level papers and the assessment of the team.
