Business School and the Business School of Marquette University Held a Meeting Discussing Cooperation in Education

On October 28, 2022, our Business School and the Business School of Marquette University held a video conference on the cooperation between the two schools in student cultivation. John M. Baworowsky, Vice President of Marquette University, Dave Clark, Vice Dean of the School of Business, Andrew Yao, Dean's Office of the International Department, Yu Chunhai, General Manager of Huacui Sunshine (Beijing) International Education Technology Co., Ltd., , Deputy General Manager Jason, Project Manager Uyanga, He Jianjia, Vice Dean of our Business School, Dean Assistant Wang Yaopeng and Lu Ke, Zhong Weibing, Director of the International Construction Office, Usharani Hareesh Govindarajan, a foreign teacher from the Department of Information Management and Information Systems, attended the conference.

At the beginning of the meeting, Yu Chunhai, Andrew Yao and Wang Yaopeng introduced the preliminary consultations and the status que of their colleges respectively; Subsequently, the two sides exchanged views on the "3+1+1" undergraduate/postgraduate project based on previous consultations, such as agreement text, cooperative majors, mutual recognition of credits, admission standards, tuition fees and scholarships. After listening to the discussion, He Jianjia expressed his interest and willingness in this exchange project. He said that the Business School has a good foundation for international cooperation in talent cultivation and hopes to promote high-level international education and deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two universities through cooperation with the Business School of Marquette University; Clark and Baworowsky both expressed their expectations for the cooperation between the two universities and agreed to jointly promote the cooperation between the two universities.

Through this meeting, the two sides formed a preliminary cooperation framework. In the next step, they will further communicate to form the specific cooperation contents, and strive to sign cooperation documents soon.
