PhD Students Majoring in Management Science and Engineering Have Published Papers in Chaos, Solitons & Fractals

Recently, PhD students majoring in Management Science and Engineering from the Business School have successively published papers in "Chaos, Solitons & Fractals", a top journal in Division 1 of “Chinese Academy of Sciences JCR partition”.

Cheng Yingying published a paper entitled "Stability analysis and optimal control of rumor spreading model under media coverage considering time delay and pulse vaccination", which constructs an improved rumor propagation model by comprehensively considering the time delay effect and media reporting factors. The popular science education is introduced into the rumor propagation process as a periodic pulse, and the optimal control problem under pulse inoculation is designed to minimize the scale and control cost of rumor propagation. Cheng Yingying is the first author of the paper, her supervisor Professor Huo Liang’an is the corresponding author, and Professor Zhao Laijun is the co-author.

Dong Yafang published a paper entitled "An improved two-layer model for rumor propagation considering time delay and event-triggered impulsive control strategy", which constructs a two-layer model considering the time delay effect XYZ−ISR to describe the dynamic propagation process of rumors in multiple channels. An event-triggered pulse control strategy is proposed to effectively control the spread of rumors, and finally some interesting results are obtained through numerical simulation and case verification. Dong Yafang is the first author of the paper, her supervisor Professor Huo Liang’an is the corresponding author, and Professor Zhao Laijun is the co-author.
