On the afternoon of September 25th, Wang Fan, Dean of the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University, Zhang Junsheng, Vice Dean, Liu Jingyan, former Vice Dean, and Xia Xiaofan, Dean's Research Assistant, came to our school for exchange and discussion. Zhao Laijun, the Dean of our school, Zhang Yongqing, Zhang Zheng and He Jianjia, the Vice Deans of our school, Wang Yaopeng and Lu Ke, the Dean’s Assistants of our school, and members of the International Construction Office and the Professional Degree Education Center Office of our school all attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Laijun, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges in the conference room 506 of our school.
During the meeting, Zhao Laijun first extended a warm welcome to Wang Fan on behalf of our school. Afterwards, Zhao Laijun introduced the overall construction and development of our school from the aspects of its development history, scale, discipline construction, talent cultivation, etc.
Wang Fan introduced the international construction, discipline development, talent cultivation, etc. of the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University. Among them, he focused on sharing the valuable experience of the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University in international certification.
Later, the two parties had in-depth discussions and exchanges on issues related to EQUIS and AACSB international certification, as well as the construction of the MBA projects of healthcare management and medical device. In order to achieve complementary advantages and resource sharing, the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on further strengthening the cooperation of the healthcare management MBA program.
Sun Yat-sen University is a century old famous university with a solid foundation of research in humanities, social sciences, science, medicine and engineering. In the fourth national discipline evaluation, the School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University performed well, ranking the first in business administration in China, and Sun Yat-sen University just passed the fourth EQUIS certification. Strengthening exchanges and visits with fraternal universities will help improve our international construction and discipline development, and make unremitting efforts to build an international first-class elite business school.
