EDP Center visits COMAC Shanghai Aviation Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. to respond and investigate

In order to establish brand, expand business channels and enhance popularity of the EDP center, on January 20, by the invitation of COMAC Shanghai Aviation Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., Professor Ge Yuhui led all members of the Executive Development Programs (EDP) Center to visit Shanghai Airlines to participate in the project pre-bidding response and investigation.

Director Cheng Kaili of the Purchasing Sharing Center of Shanghai Airlines Group extended a warm welcome to the EDP Center team. After briefly introducing the main content of the bidding project and the company’s needs in terms of new employee training, talent training, team building, etc., they hope to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with high-level universities to enhance the comprehensive quality of the company’s employees and the company’s core competitiveness.

Professor Ge Yuhui expressed his gratitude and introduced discipline advantages, faculty, and teaching environment of the Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology to relevant leaders of Shanghai Airlines Group. In response to the specific requirements of the training program and the corporate characteristics of Shanghai Airlines, the admissions director Chen Lina gave detailed training plans and suggestions based on the characteristics and advantages of the EDP center.

After the Shanghai Airlines Group officially issued the tender notice for the training project in November last year, the EDP Center has intensively carried out a series of related work such as demand investigation, training program design, and bidding document preparation. After understanding the training needs of Shanghai Airlines employees thoroughly, a targeted training program was designed and developed based on the iceberg theory, talent evaluation theory and job competency model, combined with the corporate characteristics and culture of the Shanghai Airlines Group. At the same time, the bidding team also conducted market research on the reliability, validity, and price of various evaluation software, and strived to provide enterprises with training programs of best quality and higher cost effective.

At the meeting, two parties also had in-depth exchanges on specific issues in the training project. Professor Ge Yuhui and Associate Professor Zhang Baoming also answered the related questions raised by the leaders of Shanghai Airlines, who expressed their understanding and approval after listening.

Finally, Director Kaili Cheng thanked the EDP Center of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology for its dedication, earnestness and professionalism, and looked forward to the opportunities for cooperation between the two parties in the future.
