At 13:30 pm on December 30th, the college successfully held an expert demonstration meeting for the Doctor of Business Administration application in the Business School 506. Experts attending the meeting include: Shanghai Doctor of Business Administration Review Expert, Professor Li Yuanxu of Fudan University, Member of the Fifth Discipline Review Group of Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee (Business Administration), Professor Ren Hao of Tongji University, China System Engineering Society Decision Science Committee Vice Chairman, Professor Han Chuanfeng, Director of the Sustainable Development and New Urbanization Think Tank of Tongji University, Member of the Fifth Discipline Evaluation Group (Business Administration) of the Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee, Professor Liu Bin, Dean of the Business School of Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai Academic Degrees Committee Fifth Professor Xiong Yan, member of the subject review group (Management Science and Engineering) and Dean of the Business School of Shanghai University of Applied Sciences. The leaders and teachers of the Business School who attended the meeting: Wang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, Professor Zhang Zheng, Associate Dean of the Business School and Leader of Master of Business Administration, Professor Song Liangrong, Leader of Master of Accounting, Professor Tian Fa, Tourism Teacher representative of Master of Economics and Management, Mrs. Shen Li, and Mr. Huang He from the Department of Industrial Engineering attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Ye Chunming, the vice dean of the Business School and the leader of the Master of Technology Economics and Management.
On behalf of the Business School, Secretary Wang Wei extended a warm welcome to the experts present, and introduced the origin and development of the Business School, as well as the AACSB certification passed in recent years. It is pointed out that although system science and management science and engineering have received good feedback in the fourth round of discipline evaluation, the sustainable development of the college and the layout of new disciplines are imminent. Professor Ye Chunming introduced the business administration discipline from five aspects on behalf of the business administration discipline, and gave a detailed introduction to the discipline advantages, direction and characteristics, discipline base, scientific research, personnel training and international exchanges, and management services. Experts put forward extremely valuable opinions and suggestions from the aspects of docking Shanghai’s local needs, summary of subject characteristics, condensing subject direction, highlighting of landmark achievements, display of business management characteristics, and optimization of the talent team. Experts also put forward good suggestions on the writing of the application from the topic to the format. The demonstration will end in a lively discussion atmosphere.
