On the afternoon of December 28, 2018, the signing ceremony of the research strategic cooperation agreement between the Institute of Finance of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and the China Institute of Public Finance of the University of Shanghai for Finance and Economics were held in Conference Room 506 of Business School. A group of 7 leaders and experts of our school participated in the signing ceremony of the scientific research strategic cooperation agreement and cooperated on the future, the specific direction and content of launched an exchange discussion.
The meeting was chaired by Professor Lei Lianghai,. First, Professor Zhou Xizhao, dean of business School, delivered a speech welcoming professor Liu Xiaochuan, executive director of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, it affirms the great significance of the strategic cooperation of scientific research between the two institutes.
Then, professor Liu Xiaochuan and Professor Lei Lianghai gave a brief introduction to the historical development and current research work of their respective institutes as well as the motivation for cooperation. Both sides believe that the two institutes have a very large space for cooperation, based on the principle of “complementary advantages, shared resources, mutual benefit, equality and good faith”, and on the basis of giving full play to the advantages of their brands, resources and talents, we will actively promote cooperation between the two sides in Public-Private Partnership (PPP), scientific research on fiscal issues, social services and international exchanges. We will further improve the level of scientific research and the capacity of social services of both sides.
Then, Professor Fu Wenlin, vice dean of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and professor Ye Chunming, vice dean of the Business School, gave a brief introduction to the basic situation and discipline construction of their respective schools, both sides will fully support the deep cooperation between the two institutes, he said. Finally, the deputy director of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zheng Chunrong and Fu Yingying, both expressed their support for the strategic cooperation of scientific research between the two institutes.
Later, Professor Liu Xiaochuan and Professor Lei Lianghai witnessed by the guests present at the meeting, signed the Scientific Research Strategy Cooperation Agreement.
After the signing ceremony, the participants of the two sides exchanged views on their respective research areas, and had full communication and discussion on the direction and ways of cooperation. Both sides are full of expectations for future cooperation.
Also attending the signing ceremony and Cooperation Seminar were executive deputy director of the PPP research center of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Jian Desan; Director of the Financial Performance Management Research Center, Ma Zhiyuan; and director of the office, Liu Yonghe, more than 20 teachers, including Tian Fa, chairman of the Department of Finance and Taxation, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Sun Yingjun, director of the Department of Finance, Dong Jieshuang and Yu Qianlong.
