From April 2nd to 3rd, the 2019 Shanghai University Business Elite Challenge, International Trade Professional Competition, knowledge and selection competition of USST were successfully held by the Department of International Trade of Business School. Four of the winning teams would represent the university in a citywide competition. The competition was sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and co-organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The 2019 Shanghai University Business Elite Challenge International Trade Professional Competition will be held at USST on April 21st, 2019.
The students who signed up came from many colleges and different majors. The entries have distinctive features, a strong sense of science and technology and a sense of the Times, showing the promotion of China’s foreign trade status and structure. The competition focused on the participating teams’ ability to apply international trade professional knowledge, English expression and communication skills, on-site organization, teamwork ability, product feature mining and marketing creativity, etc. The International Trade Competition has become one of the highlights of the undergraduate teaching work of the Department of International Trade, which has played a positive role in promoting the internationalization of Business School and expanding the school’s social influence.
Professor Fang LUO, the dean of the Department of International Economics and Trade, the deputy dean Bing HAN, the head of the International Trade Competition project team Qiao TANG, and the instructors Hongbo LAI and Lingying PAN attended the competition site to observe and guide the entire competition.
